How on earth did the Saints lose to the Raiders?

Andre, a new week.

It's Monday, so close to a victory Monday, but...

It was not to be.

Saints home opener has come and gone.

They played the undefeated Las Vegas Raiders.

The mission was to make both teams 2-1.

It did not happen.

The Las Vegas Raiders, look, I don't know how great they're going to be, but they are well coached.

And that is an undefeated team right now that came into New Orleans and won in a very hostile environment.

So I tip my cap.

But in saying that, whoo! Boy, did the Saints have their chances.

So here they are, 1-2.

No actual moral victories this time.

They're 1-2.

They lost the game.

They lost to an opponent that was probably, I don't know if you're better than them, but you're at least on their same level.

That's a game that you should win.

Let's just put it that way.

And they were not able to do so.

So here we are, sitting here on this Monday.

We're going to get into that game, obviously, with what we saw and our thoughts on it.

So how are you feeling? Because I'm still a little bit like, man, did that really happen yesterday? What say you?

I'll tell you what.

We were both up in the press box, new seats in the press box for the first Saints home game.

The dome was rocking.
