Fright Night six years ago seven years ago i had just gotten here and my boss at the time called me and said what are you doing for halloween and i said i don't know because i was really busy with some other stuff and he's like well you have to do a halloween promotion and i was like i can't say what i want to say on the radio
so i was like okay what do i do
so i know when i was in high school my theater club or theater department did a lot of stuff they would do like a zombie walk uh we would do just a lot of like halloween based things to fundraise and And so I asked the theater teacher here, Tommy Varela, I'm like, what do you guys do? He's like, right now, we don't really do anything for Halloween.
And I was like, oh, great.
So I was like, let's do a zombie laser tag.
And through the summer, they did zombie laser tag.
And I used to volunteer there in like the clown haunts and stuff like that.
So anyways, we were going to do it at local grounds.

And he said, well, let's have a chat with Tim because I think I can get you the cannery out at Cape Fox.
So we meet with Tim Lewis and he gives me this big budget.
And I was like, you know what? Go get the decor for it.
You can have the venue.
And I go out there and it is Anyone who's been out to the George Inlet cannery, it's massive, abandoned cannery.
It's huge.
And I'm like, I don't even have to decorate this place.
It's horrific.
It's terrifying.
So I did that.
We did.
We decorated it.
