Good morning, Ketchikan.

This is another fantabulous episode of First City Forum.

I am your host for the day, uh, Phoenix, the comedian.

Well, I actually got a book called Kenyon, K-E-N-Y-O-N.

So to my understanding, this is like a quarterly book.

Zine kind of thing that comes out and the UAS Ketchikan University Library has them.

This is my experience flying down to Ketchikan.

On flight 6-7? Yeah, 6-7.

you might as well just watch them on Wi-Fi.

That didn't make any sense.

I get to Ketchikan, spent two nights in Ketchikan.

I was watching them on the Windows app on my Surface tablet.

Most of the work's already been done.

I've been talking to Amanda and The architect out of Ketchikan, who's done quite a bit of work here in Skagway, and she's come up with a couple of conceptual ideas.

I think we're progressing nicely.

And because we're working so hand in glove with the municipality, I think there's a really good chance that we're going to get it.

I recommend that everybody at least, you know, visit there.

Yeah, I actually had some training that I did with the army up at Ketchikan, Alaska, like southern Alaska.

So I got it.

I did get a taste of that.

That was kind of one of the things people wanted to know more about, you know, sent us off to other museums.

And so kind of, it's kind of cool with us as Ketchikan museums, as both the Totem Heritage Center and Tongass Historical Museum, we're part of a larger, you know, ecosystem of cultural centers, both here in Alaska, and then broader, you know, in the US and internationally.

And because of that, in those relationships, we're able to really kind of make those asks or maybe know about resources and things.

So If you're a teacher who really desperately wants to go on a field trip to some other institute, we'd probably want to go along with you.

So I'm really excited to see like how many things I can cram into my schedule to beat the blues and, you know, not get like winter depression.

So I'm really excited that you guys have so much for us to do.
