The first Let's Make It a Double chain of Season 11 closes with Bob's Pick, *The Wild Robot*, one of his favorite animated films of the last few years, and a first-time watch for guest and five-time…

Today we're talking about one of my favorite movies from just a few years ago, called The Wild Robot.

We're wrapping up our first little miniseries of the season, which started with 2004's The Incredibles.

Now, at the end of that movie, Brad decided to pair it up with Big Hero 6, a movie I had never seen before.

And in the course of watching Baymax and all of his shenanigans, I thought, "You know, there's a lot here about a big, old caring robot, and I think I have just the movie for us to watch." So, you know, three consecutive weeks of robots, Brad-

I think that this did not take quite the direction I thought it would at the beginning of this three weeks, but I'm happy we landed here.

I, I think that this has been a really fun little mini foray into the world of animated film, 'cause usually, I don't know, we have one to three animated films in a season, but it's very rare that they ever fall back to back.

these three in a row, it, it kinda reminds me of when we did our little director miniseries that, you know, we just kinda took a little, little trip into the realm of the animated film.

I have, too, and I'm also glad that we started with something familiar, like The Incredibles.

It was a nice little on-ramp into the season, and it's also given us a couple weeks of runway before we brought in our first guest.

I think Film and Whiskey nation is now ready for the chaos that ensues when we bring in our guest for the day.
