The 4 Types of Muslims — Which One Are You

The first guidance given by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in the glorious Quran, it was not to offer salah, it was not to give zakah, it was not to fast in the month of Ramadan, it was not to perform hajj, but it was iqra.

As Allah says in the glorious Quran in Surah Al-Alaq, chapter number 96, verse number 1, Read, recite, proclaim in the name of thy Lord who has created you.

So the first guidance given by Allah , it was to read.

Unfortunately, the Muslim Ummah, it can be divided into three categories.

The first, are those who do not want to read.

The second category are those who want to read but they do not want to read in the name of Allah .

They are more impressed by the western world, by the western education.

The third category are those people who want to read in the name of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but they do not want to follow the guidance.

They do not want to understand the message of the glorious Quran and they do not want to implement on it.

These are the people who do not implement on the message of the glorious Quran.

Even though they read in the name of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

So these are the three categories.

And there is a very small portion from among the Muslims, a very negligible portion from among the Muslims, those who want to read in the name of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and they want to follow the guidance as well.

They read in the name of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

They understand the message of the glorious Quran and they implement on it.

This is a very negligible portion from among the Muslim ummah.

A very small portion.

And if you want to call this category, you can call this as the fourth category.

Beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, it is mentioned in Sunan ibn Majah.

Hadith number... 224 Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every single Muslim.

Acquiring knowledge is obligatory upon every single Muslim.

Whether that person be a man or a woman.

Whether that person be a male or a female.

Many people, they think that knowledge can only be acquired in schools, colleges and universities.

One of the best place to acquire knowledge, it is at your home.
