Welcome to Fame-Ready! This week, Katrina Owens shares the Spain recap she did not expect to give. What was meant to be a dreamy trip through Ibiza, Mallorca and Barcelona became an unexpected lesson…
So let's take it back to a couple weeks ago when I was feeling young, energized, healthy, clear-minded.
I got to board my very, very first, uh, first class lay-flat seat on an airplane.
Um, everything except for one sneaky little detail that my Ultrahuman ring flagged literally on the morning that I left for Spain.
I actually had, um, like a car pick me up from our house to take me to the airport.
I don't really feel comfortable using Ubers at that hour, and honestly, the price difference really wasn't that significant, um, if anything, honestly.
You know, I had gotten back from Atlanta only a couple days before with my trip with Gabriel and his family.
And so feeling, like, a little bit tired and off really wasn't anything that raised a red flag for me.
However, my Ultrahuman ring did send me a little message and said, "Hey, your temperature is a little bit elevated.
Be careful of your immune load." Like, you know, "This is, like, early signs of illness," blah, blah, blah.
And I was like, "Huh, I've never received that message from my Ultrahuman ring." But I was like, "Okay.
You know, I'm sure I'm not in, like, tip-top health at this point, but how bad can it really be?" [chuckles] So anyways, time goes on.
Honestly, a couple, a couple months ago, I kept saying how I wanted to take four weeks off in the summer and while I kinda did that in my own way, that's still, like, a massive accomplishment.
And I was just really looking forward to, like, having some time away from my desk, spending some time in another warm place with palm trees, which is really where I feel most like myself.
