We're going to unpack that a little bit.

Ultimately, I believe that the outdoor industry is full of incredible people who genuinely want to see others succeed.

But then there's also a growing culture or maybe a culture that has always been there.

It's just more obvious now with social media and the current modern climate of technology.

but there is a growing, a seemingly growing culture of self-promotion and competition, a mentality of what can you do for me? And I don't think that's right.

Um, I don't think that the difference between a small creator and a big creator should necessarily be defined by the size of their following.

I think that people need to be more defined by their mindset.

And that's what we're going to unpack and what we're going to change.

And we're going to start by just, again, it's a personal observation.

It's an observation that we all have probably made.

And that is that the outdoor industry has dramatically changed because of social media.

Like even in the past few recent short years, stuff is changing so fast.

And social media is definitely playing a big role in that.

It can be a positive thing.

It can be a negative thing.

And if you guys have been paying attention or been listening to the show for a long time, you've certainly heard me talk about that a little bit in the past.

Fun fact, I meant to mention this earlier.

So exactly a hundred episodes ago, um, we, I started trickling in here and there, these, these solo podcasts and everything.
