Passport Stamps & Panic Attacks

So basically, we were going back and forth on where we wanted to go on holiday this year, kind of, I didn't want to, I wanted to truthfully just stay behind, kind of, you know, save a little bit of moolah.

And the hubbub was like, nah, if I find something cheap enough, or like, you know, budget friendly, are you interested? I was like, yeah, sure, no worries, so he looks into all these different solutions, and then he, I had put out there, because we always love to go to Greece, and I put out there the option of Croatia, because my friend and work colleague had recently been there, and The pictures were, it looked like she was in the Seychelles or the Maldives, like the sea was green.

And not like green, it was like pearl, like beautiful turquoise green.

It was stunning, absolutely stunning.

So I was saying, you know, maybe Croatia.

And then the next thing I know, he's like, hey, we can drive.

We can drive from Sweden to Croatia.

We can stop off every day after a max of like five hours driving or whatever.

um and we can stop in a different country so I was like that could be quite cool the kids would probably really like it um it would be different adventurous and also I'm bearing in mind that I have to work as well so it was kind of like perfect he drives I sit in the front seat and work all good from the laptop Well, all I can say is, best decision we could have made, we got the ferry from nearby where we live, and the first drive was like two and a half hours, and I think the most we've driven is like five hours.

And it has been awesome.

We were singing along to Mufasa soundtrack and all the Disney classics.

It was just like, it was a really good time.

Don't get me wrong.

The one thing that we all have in this family is that when we are hungry, we get hangry very, very quickly.

So we need to be a little better with the snack side of things.

So on the way back, we will definitely stock up.

But all in all, it's been super fun so we did sweden to germany and our first stop was berlin we got there super late uh well not super late but we were just so tired because our ferry was at like 6 00 a.m so we had to be up at five um so we just got to the hotel went for a nice dinner german beer was on point And then we just like crashed out in our room, watched TV.

I worked while the girls and the hubbub watched the new film, The Goat, the cartoon film, which they really, really liked.

So I need to watch that again.

But it was cool.

It was really nice.

Like, you know, family room, not too expensive.

I seriously cannot complain.
