With it being so easy to get so much information these days and for it to be all conflicting, it can be really confusing.

Try and improve your health in any way, whether you're someone who's trying to lose weight, whether you're trying to improve your blood sugars, whether you're trying to eat healthier overall.

Maybe you just want to feel better, have more energy, improve your skin, improve your hair.

Whatever your goal is, it can be really confusing to know what to focus on in the nutrition world.

So if you have been finding yourself asking questions like, what should I really be focusing on? Should I be focusing on having more protein? Maybe I need to go low fat.

How do I know? How can I figure that out? And the answer to this, like it is to many things we speak about on this podcast, it really depends.

But what is your largest, most important, highly prioritized goal? And that is going to determine which one of these goals.

areas you should focus on the most is how much protein you eat how many calories you eat overall how much fat you eat in your diet how many carbs you eat in your diet how much fiber you eat how much dairy how much gluten how much artificial colors and flavors and additives.

Some of them will affect your body composition, whether you store more fat, more muscle.
