So the first thing I wanna say is prior to the advent of intensive insulin therapy or really, like, before we had insulin, so thinking back, like, before 1921, pregnancy was really, really dangerous for people with diabetes, particularly people with Type 1 diabetes, um, who were the majority of people who had diabetes while they were of childbearing age.
