The Astrology of July 13-19, 2026 / Cancer New Moon

So this week our main focus is a Cancer new moon.

So this Cancer new moon will be tomorrow and a new moon, like all new moons, they set the stage.

They open us up.

To a new chapter, to a new focus, and for this next four weeks, which will take us all the way up to the solar eclipse of August 12th, we are focusing on home and family and roots and foundations.

We're going to learn a little bit more about what cancer means as a sign.

it's really important for us to understand the zodiac because the zodiac in a way is like a template it helps us to understand life and helps us to understand creation of course there are other things that can help us to understand life but the flow of the signs is not random and so when we reach cancer season we are touching base with a very important and primal sign which i'll get to in a moment Also this week, we are not just going into a new lunar month, but this is a lunar month that is right before a solar eclipse.

And what I've noticed again and again is that sometimes the eclipse experience happens in the weeks before the solar eclipse.

I'll come back to that.

And there's something that's happening in the sky.

It's a bit rare.

I know there's been some things said online from other astrologers.

There's...

I'm trying to make this not too overly technical, but you have, now that the outer planets have all changed signs, you know, Saturn is now in Aries, Pluto is in Aquarius, Uranus is in Gemini, Neptune is in Aries.

Particularly with Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, they're all like at four degrees, which is very rare.

They're all making either sextile or trine.

We also have a Jupiter opposition next week.

So there's been sort of this talk about, how there's a very special energy, magical energy in the air for July.

And while I do agree with some of that, I think sometimes we get a little bit carried away with the possibility of the astrology.

But I think that there's, I feel that there's an opening that is happening in July that interestingly happens before the solar eclipse.

So we'll talk more about the potentiality of this opening.
