The first ever AEW Redemption is coming up! Here's what we think will happen NOTE: There are some audio issues in this episode that we apologize for
Looking at this card, and I feel like this is potentially going to upset some people, but looking at this card and how it was built and where it is on the schedule, not even just how it was built or anything, this seems like it could be as close to a B-show pay-per-view as AEW is capable of delivering.
By B-show, I mean clearly not at the level of the other major pay-per-views.
Of course, that's not saying that it's going to be a bad show.
AEW has a very, pretty lengthy and very consistent track record of delivering great shows on pay-per-view.
Delivering great shows in general recently, especially the wrestling, but on pay-per-view specifically, AEW has done an amazing job for the last several years, basically establishing that if you're going to spend money on an awp for you which is i mean different than than uh wwe would do they're making you spend additional money though maybe you have to spend i don't know anyway if you're going to spend money on an awp for you they are going to put on a great show it's pretty much established one day that won't be the case one day they're bound to have a show that isn't great But based on their track record, you can assume that if you watch this show and you put your time and money into it, it's going to be good.
I don't doubt that it will be good.
Just looking at the card, the wrestlers on the card, the shows on the card are all really great.
That said, we've talked a lot about predictability in wrestling and how predictability in wrestling isn't necessarily a bad thing.
And it's not.
That's not a bad thing because predictability just means the story makes sense.
But that in mind, this pay-per-view seems especially predictable.
And it seems like a lot of these matches, forgive me if you're going to get mad, I can feel people getting mad as I say this, seems like a lot of these matches could be like on a dynamite or a collision.
That's kind of a knock on the pay-per-view but it's also some praise for Dynamite and Collision because Dynamite and Collision have been very good and have had some very good you know championship matches some very good matches with very high stakes but that's how this feels to me again not to say it's not going to be good but that's how this feels to me feel free to disagree if you're on a platform that allows comments you know YouTube or something like that feel free to comment in the comments about what you think about this pay-per-view if you think it's going to be a great show and if you think that it We'll stack up with all the other AEW pay-per-views.
