My first reaction was, thank God, Steven, that you came out with your story before it came out in federal documents.

Because when I read them, I was like, you know what? If I didn't say anything a month ago that this happened and I thought I was bribed to not write a story and I didn't take the bribe, people will be asking me or people would be going around thinking I took a bribe.

Well, it's pretty clear the world's evolving around you right now, Stephen, the media world.

So I'm curious, but how did it really feel to see, read this in a prosecutor's words that you were the target of a bribe that a Chang Tao wanted to kill a story that was coming out from the East Bay insiders? Yeah.

I think I alluded to this when I wrote like a narrative story of the first indictments.
