E/9: Road to the President's Cup, Way Too Early College Football Questions, and Spiderman Booms

Man, for not much going on in sports the last few weeks, Mike and I sure have a lot to say today.

Um, obviously we have to talk about his member-member experience and, uh, I'm gonna let him tell it.

But, um, you know, member-members, they, they can identify character.

They can identify character flaws and character strengths.

He'll talk about that a little bit today.

Uh, talk about my trip to Key West.

Somehow we get Tony Romo's, um, OWI in there.

Um, kind of fun to hear Mike's takes on that.

Uh, we're gonna talk golf.

The last few weeks, especially for the future of American golf, been a lot of fun.

Um, this week Michael Thorp Jørgensen won, Jackson Covey won the week before that, and Blades Brown made another run on the Korn Ferry Tour, so we're gonna hit that.

And then talk about what that may infer for the President's Cup or what we may hope for when it comes to President's Cup selection.

Uh, I have some compliments I'm gonna give the WNBA its flowers this week.

I had to do it.

Um, talk about the Women's Open briefly, and then we're gonna tap our first college football segment of the year.

Uh, five questions with Mike about the impending college football season.

Uh, a nice little segment about Bill Belichick in there.

Um, and then what we'd like to see happen with some of the reforms, both to NIL and to the transfer rules.

Uh, and we're gonna wrap it up talking about Spider-Man and the Odyssey.

Um, yet again, a huge week for movies.

Spider-Man opened massive, bigger than even The Avengers.

Uh, I'm going to see it this week, and, uh, we're gonna talk about that at the end of the podcast.
