And we are down to fade two women who have never met a hill too stupid to die on.

This week we're continuing our Silver Flames deep dive with chapters 9 through 17.

I don't know what happened last week, but we blacked out and yaffed about eight chapters for over three hours.

So today we are going to practice the lost art of shutting the fuck up.

Mmm.

Anyway, here's 40 minutes on Elaine's visit because we have a lot of opinions on that and an interdimensional cat conspiracy to end.

And we want to dedicate this episode to Dolly Parton.

I was lucky enough to work for Dolly for five years.

And I don't think you can overstate what she built because she grew up one of 12 kids in an Archeron style cabin with no plumbing, no electricity.

And she went from that to being fucking dolly.

That's amazing.

And this is actually really sweet because her dad couldn't read or write.

She started the imagination library, which has now sent more than 300 million books to kids.

So obviously, as two women who have made reading books their entire personalities, that part of her legacy, it means a lot to us.
