It's a thing which is a UK thing that didn't make it in North America as far as I'm aware, which is pantomimes.

Pantomimes, pantos, are Christmas period... like plays that are of nursery rhymes normally they're all there's like they're every single one of them has tropes uh the tropes are like he's behind you which is um at some point a character a villain is going to be stood behind a character and the audience has to yell he's behind you and then they will turn and then they won't be there anymore and then they walk across the stage they're a bit of a buffoon there is always cross-dressing like there is a like a drag queen in every show not like a drag queen it's like a guy who is in every respect a cis guy who is dressed up like a female character um So it's not like a drag queen, like, you know, they are an expert and are known to be this.
But again, a very British thing, a very British thing, which is why the transphobia in the UK makes absolutely no sense.
I know, it's wild.
On a cultural level, it makes no sense.
Every single person who is above the age, who is above my age, or my age or above, basically, who is transphobic, is literally so fucking stupid because so much of our culture is based on drag.
