Today we're diving into one of the biggest buzzwords that I'm hearing everywhere all the time, particularly in commercial real estate right now, and that is artificial intelligence.
It's almost becoming annoying how often I'm hearing the phrase, but I can't shake it.
It'll become a significant part of our life the same way the internet was when I was in elementary school.
Every panel on every Landy's conference has a discussion about AI, and somebody's claiming it's going to revolutionize development.
It will have a significant impact on things like underwriting, acquisitions, and zone analysis.
But with most things in business, the truth is probably somewhere between the complete game changer and completely overhyped.
And I'm not quite sure where I am on that spectrum, but I can definitely see a role and a place for it when used properly.
So today, I just want to break down where AI is actually helping in property due diligence, land acquisition, and development.
