I think we're in an interesting time where there's this sort of, like, kind of boom of...

So just overall, do you feel like the space is getting crowded? Is it the best time ever to make an incremental game? What's your sense there? I think the best time to make an

um however i don't think it's unprofitable a game called slots and diapers just came out and they're pulling the same numbers i did in launch week and that's you know two months after i released my game in a pretty now crowded genre the only thing is the in the same way that we had vampire survivors the moment that game came out loads of copycats happened But then you'll realize that the amount of money they made slow decreased.

That's the same thing I feel we're happening with incrementals is since Chris decided to make a video saying these are like the best things to make.

everyone is jumping on it but the problem is it's not quantity that's the problem it's the quality the lack of actual good game design and actually interesting mechanics i feel is where the problem is i don't think incrementals are dead or incrementals are less profitable i think the bar for entry is getting higher which it should be because nobody wants to play the 10000 and one node buster like no one wants to play that

I mean, we might someone else has got to get in there and compete with him on the marketing beats.

So so tell me about like was that sort of zany fantasy part of how you decided to set yourself apart?

So I started prototyping because I saw the concept of cultists and ducks did not happen at the same time.

I started prototyping with just cultist assets and just being able to spawn them in because I really liked a particular artist's 2D pack of cultists.
