Risk of Rain

... as a heads-up.

It's a real, uh, Risk of Rain thing of like, oh, I have to hit a different button to finish the run? What?

Uh-huh.

How...

And the actual gameplay is kind of like, I don't know, action RPG-ish.

It also is somewhat reminiscent of this mixture of Risk of Rain and Elden Ring, like Night Rain.

where, you know, there's this meter filling up, and as the meter fills up, you know, there's more enemies.

And when the meter's completely filled up, all of a sudden the danger drastically escalates because there's this crazy sky angel just raining hell on you from above.

I agree completely.

I think that the difficulty curve and the difficulty scaling based on the difficulty levels is one of the big problems of Kernel Hearts because you talked about the time pressure and a lot of roguelites have that kind of time pressure.

You talked about night rain, you talked about risk of rain.

And there's a certain virtue in having runs be quick.

The rules have changed Changed I'm going to learn to reconsider Discover the other side A world of sweetness Summer Eternal Knowing that it's wrong But The world of gentleness was eternal Knowing that it's wrong, but still believing in it Thoughts eroded, the rules changed I'm going to learn to reconsider Petite innocence s'en est allée de l'autre L'autre côté, je m'en vais te trouver

And for our second track here, I have from Risk of Rain, the original one, 25.3 degrees north, 91.7 degrees east.

From a short hike, I have snow.

Lots of snow.
