Yes, the WSL is back this weekend, starting on Friday night and we're back into the normal preview and review shows for the season, for the first one this season.
First up is someone that's been enjoying a bit of time outside the country actually recently, back in the homeland.
I'm definitely, I was in the countryside in Poland on a Saturday night, like holding my phone up in the air, trying to catch some of the Arsenal first game against Coventry.
So, in what will be very out of date football news by the time that you're listening to this on Tuesday.
I was inspired to wear this today because there's an absolutely brilliant photographer in Arlen called Mick O'Shea.
But he had a bit of a throwback picture of Emma Byrne in this shirt the other day.
You can bet your bottom dollar that when we get to the Everton part of the podcast, it might be twice as long as the rest of the matches.
We have had quite a lot of new people start listening to us and watching us over the month of August.
So if you're new here, this is one of our match week preview shows, the first one of the season, obviously.
Basically, what we're going to do is we're going to talk through the stats and facts of each game coming up um this weekend there's obviously seven in the wsl um that we're going to go through and we're going to go through every single one and give you a lowdown of basically how they've played against each other before how they're faring throughout the season and what we think might happen um we've also got an extra little bonus for you today because we had a interview with opta Earlier today, I sat down with Maya from Opta and we talked about their prediction model, the famous Opta supercomputer and what that has predicted for the season ahead.
