Tom MaherGuestAnd one of the main things that came out from Decode the WSL was you wanted more fantasy content.
Well, ahead of WSL weekends and afterwards and helping you with selection issues and stuff.
who to bench, who to captain, that sort of stuff is what we're going to be here for, when to use your chips and all that kind of thing.
Before we get into talking about the new game, though, I really want to give a moment for Aerial Fantasy because that has been, I think, a big part of, well, probably the success that, I know it's not really started yet, but the WSL Football will see this season.
um aerial fantasy built an amazing app an amazing community with that app and i think introduced so many people to wsl football and for a lot of people that were you know not that into women's football but you know relative casuals or just follow their own team there's a lot of people that probably know their own team know some of the big players and the big teams know the england players but they don't necessarily know who's going to be scoring the goals for the teams in the lower half of the table who is going to be keeping clean sheets for Everton, people like that.
So, yeah, I just want to say a big thank you to Aerial Fantasy for all the work you've done, to Danny and to Jimmy especially for setting it up.
Because, yeah, I don't think that this game by the WSL will be as successful as it is if it wasn't for all the work that they did for the community.

The team there helped create such a brilliant game and such a lovely community as well that hopefully will extend now into this new era for WSL Fantasy.
And yeah, like Flo, obviously, this is going to be quite a different beast, I guess, with it being like the official one for the league.
But for when there wasn't an official one, I think Aerial Fantasy basically did as much as they could do.
I think it's really interesting what you said there about, you know, so many people coming at the game through the Lionesses.
And I think when you play Aerial Fantasy or you even go into the new WSL game, you see the percentage of players that are picked that are England players.
um is huge you know like every england player is basically selected by 30 of the players playing the game and i think aerial fantasy did really well in kind of expanding that knowledge base and leaning into educating people on players and teams and the community aspect was massive I think it's really intriguing what the league has done by including WSL and WSL2 players.
You know, they've done it with the EFL fantasy game where they had obviously players across three divisions, which is probably a nice segue, Sam, for you to kind of give us the rundown about what's different about this game compared to, say, what we had before with Aerial.
