I live in Florida, where there is an established constitutional medical marijuana program, which has close to a million active users and their roles.

In other parts of the country, adult recreational use is ordinary and regulated.

At this point, it's 24 states, I believe, and the District of Columbia have non-medical marijuana as a legal thing.

And then I think it's 41 or 42 states that have some form of access if you include medical programs.

So then you can travel to another state and encounter a substantially different legal regime even though the majority of the states have some form of legal access.

So the same molecule from the same plant and yet treated almost completely differently based on where you are.

So beyond naturally occurring trace amounts effective July 31st, while other qualifying hemp products remain legal under its consumable hemp program.

The same issue is beginning to emerge in artificial intelligence.
