EPISODE: HOMETOWN EDITION

Well, one of the things I found fascinating is I guess I never understood how the board ran.

Apparently, there's a director and then there's one city council member.

One from the county, one from the school board, and then two local businesses.

And apparently, I don't know the situation with the other, but I know the local businesses I've seen that you write.

Kind of like, I request, I would like to be involved, and something like that.

I'm assuming, I don't know if the director's the one who chooses, or if the previous council chooses them, but...

They meet once per month, which is good.

It's kind of standard.

The school board meets once a month.

When I worked at the clinic, it was a non-profit, so they met once a month, the board.

One of the things that was mentioned when I was interviewing is, I guess in 2025... which is one of the big years that I mean that we're having like an issue with money.

Well, we like where there is an issue of money.

It was like I was able to see like they didn't meet as much.

You know, they should have been meeting at, you know, at minimum 12 times.

There's going to be times you may have to have a special meeting because I used to facilitate these same style meetings.

Like I said, nonprofit.

So I would facilitate like board meetings, you know, committee meetings and stuff like that.

to be able to get all the documentation.

I know about meeting quorum, and if you don't have quorum, you know, you can't really vote.

I know about the agendas.

Like, one of the things that was...

That was noted when I was provided documentation.

I have documentation of this.

I have it all.

I wanted to scan it and put it online.
