Three Prayer Themes: Presence • Strength • Courage SCRIPTURE — Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” There are mornings when fear arrives before your feet even touch the floor. You may already be thinking about what today will demand from you, wondering whether you have enough strength for what lies ahead. So before we face the day, we pause with Jesus. Lord Jesus, thank You that Your presence does not depend on how strong we feel. You are with us when we feel confident, and You are with us when our hearts are trembling. We pray for people in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and South Africa. Meet each person in the reality of their morning. For someone facing a difficult conversation, give courage. For someone carrying responsibility, give strength. For someone afraid of what may happen, give the quiet assurance that they are not alone. Holy Spirit, settle anxious thoughts and turn our attention towards Jesus. Help us remember that we don’t have to manufacture courage by ourselves. We can receive it from the God who stays near. Jesus, walk ahead of us today. Stand beside us when we feel weak, and steady us when circumstances feel bigger than our faith. We may not know everything this day will bring, but we know who will meet us in it. You are with us. And because You are with us, we can take the next step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
