James is joined by his 2 boys Colton & Corbin for the traditional Father's Day Episode. Fresh off of a family vacation filled with some rare gaming time, hear all about plays of Puerto Banana, Panda…
Let's get to vacation and the gaming while, while, why we are all here.
So we just took a big, long vacation.
We went on a cruise.
We drove back to Tampa where we stayed with a domer friend of mine, Brandon, at his house, and then we drove home.
So along the way, we managed to play quite a few board games, actually.
I'm pretty impressed.
Like any good dome dad, I packed some games to give us a chance to maximize our... rare family time when we're all together, not doing other things.
And when we're, you know, tired of being in the car and have to do something else, everyone wanted to watch TV.
And I'm like, you want to play a game boys, right? So starts out, we drive to Tampa, we stayed halfway.
And I didn't break out the games yet.
There was just we stayed, we got up, we finished driving.
And after we got some Chick-fil-A for dinner that night, I busted out the first game.
Well, I busted out Panda Royale first.
We're going to talk about it in a little bit.
But I also busted out a game that I bought specifically for the vacation, which was called Cozy Stickerville.
So Cozy Stickerville is a game by Corey Kanetska, who is the designer of...
Battlestar Galactica and Twilight Imperium which is like an insane group of things to be the designer of and also make this game Cozy Stickerville Cozy Stickerville's pitch is like what if Stardew Valley was a board game And it's just chill.
It's just about chill, right? Uh, it's not really about winning or losing.
In fact, I think the, the instruction manual says you cannot lose this game.
So definitely not something that's up my usual alley, but for vacation, it sounded like the right fit to me.
Like we could just chill.
