Um, [laughs] until then, we need to understand that this effort to build a one world totalitarian political, economic, and religious system comes from the pit of hell.
Yeah
But, um, three thousand years ago, David prophetically wrote about the kings of the earth and the rulers taking counsel together, or conspiring is how, how some translations put it, against the Lord and against his anointed one.
Now, a thousand years more or less after that was written, we saw that in action, the Romans, the Pharisees literally nailing the anointed one to a cross.
I believe we still have kings and rulers conspiring together against God, and I think when you dig a little bit, it becomes very clear that that's what we're dealing with.
Uh, but before we even get into the mechanics of that, who it is, what they're doing, why they're doing it, how they're doing it, I just wanna share with you about how God reacts to this.
He ridicules them, and as verse five says, "He's gonna speak to them in his wrath." You do not wanna be on the wrong side of that.
So we'll come back to Psalm two, but before we get into this idea of globalism and the forces pushing it, I just wanna start with the words of Jesus.
