Uh, I mean, we, we went somewhere mountainous, mountainous.

Let's say that one of the mountain range in SoCal.

I mean, as, as specific as, as it is, I mean, it's the truth.

... to try our hand at some mountain stuff.

So obviously, I mean, one, one of the goals is gonna be Z's or zonatas, you know, mountain king snakes.

But, you know, everything for the most part was just novel and for- great, including these, uh, western skinks.

This is like a, a juvenile western skink.

Yeah, the zonata's gotta eat, too, so.

That's right.

If they're, if they're not there, uh, there's nothing for them to eat, so.

You say that and y- I agree, but I, I automatically think of, like, hets Monocled cobra food first, you know?

Yeah.

And as luck would have it, you know, uh, some buddies would flip, whi- which would be our first little snake.

But these western skinks were cool.

I like them.

I mean, where I'm at, uh, lizards are not locally abundant.

They're pretty much extirpated besides pockets in, uh, in private land.

Pretty much the same here as well.

Yeah.

It's crazy to think of, I mean, Midwest and lizards, you put two and two together, but not where we're at.

Yeah.

It's all good though.
