He was driving a Montero Sport, which is the usual model of car you see when using the Grab service in Manila.

I hopped into the front seat, ignored the driver's awkward greetings, and leaned my head on the window.

I was already anticipating the drive ahead, thankful for the pack of mints I'd thought to buy to curb away any nausea I'd get.

Some of these Grab drivers, in my experience, drove so erratically that you could get nauseous riding with them, even if they were driving the most expensive cars on the planet.

Thankfully, this driver wasn't one of those, and he drove like he had actually passed the driver's exam.

Mall of Asia is a huge mall, and I had spent the entire day walking all over the place and shopping in my crappy shoes.

I was expecting to be near my relative's subdivision by the time I woke up, but instead, we were still on the Skyway, about to reach one of the first toll gates.

By the time I'd finished the new overly long update from a new author I liked, I looked up, and I noticed that we were just arriving at the same toll gate from earlier.
