Malik Bazille: From the Boxing Ring to Sharing the Screen With Michael B. Jordan in Creed

So let's talk about the blow up, right? Like you just told me.

So boxing was your life.

That's where you put a lot of your energy and your, your emotion and young spirit.

you know, rage or whatever it was that drove you to do that.

Whatever chip was on your shoulder, whatever you were still trying to prove that made you get in the ring a hundred times.

I would love like a brief, you know, to see if you could tap into that and tell me what that was.

But tell me about, you said pandemic, you're watching a lot of Trevor Wallace, Drew Ski, Funny Marco, these guys, and then you start taking a crack at it.

Was it Instagram? Was it TikTok? Tell me about the blow up.

Tell me about your first viral skit.

Man, well, viral in our, coming from LA and I saw those guys, you understand, coming out of quarantine was the hardest blow up because everybody was on their phone.

Everybody was like, I can do this.

I was one of them.

So my first blow up I thought was 100K.

And it was about when you sleep with a girl and you meet her boyfriend the next day or the same day.

And that was on Worldstar when Worldstar was a thing.

And I was like, wow.

And I was like, let's keep going.

Let's keep going.

And I did the work husband and that one went

everywhere.

But you feel like you, you feel like your content went nuts right off the jump or you, you were kind of, okay.

So you struggled for a little bit before you hit it.

Hell yes.

I didn't know my lane.

I didn't know, you know, you thought, I just know I wanted to do it.
