Welcome back to the Crafternoon Podcast hosted by Daisy @MyGreenCow and Meg @megjournals 📖✨ Let's recap our experience at StationeryFest UK, from being stallholders and hosting the Crafternoon…
[chuckles]
Yeah, 'cause you obviously are used to just rocking up, attending, enjoying.
Yeah.
But this time [chuckles]
I know, I got the behind-the-scenes.
So we got there, was it, like, in the morning on the Friday, ready for set up?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And we had our task of trying to see if everything would work on the stall for the first time.
Because if you listen to the previous episodes where we were talking about, uh, you know, the planning for the stall and everything, this was the first time that everything was going up all at the same time, so it was a bit of a, like, cross our fingers-
[chuckles]
... and hope that everything works moment, wasn't it? [chuckles]
It did.
It, it did come together.
I don't think there was anything that really, like, we put it down and went, "Ooh, that's not gonna fit.
Oops." Everything pretty much did go to plan in that respect.
Yeah.
We had some last-minute additions to the stall that I think worked really well.
So we had got these, what are they? Like, the sort of bars that go over the top to sort of frame the stand.
And that was a bit like, are the actual clumps gonna fit on the table?
Yeah.
I was like, under the table, like, with the screws like this, like, "Please fit." [chuckles] But like a sort of last-minute thing, we were like, "Why don't we put some pompoms across them all?" 'Cause you make the sort of pompom garlands that, I can see some in the background of, uh, on the hook there.
Um-
Yeah.
[chuckles]
