And it was someone saw something that I'd lettered on my Instagram and was like, will you letter this for me? And I was like,
really? And then now you're here, it's spiralled.
And now I'm here.
Yeah, kind of
spiralled, just a little bit.
So yeah, she actually wanted me to write in the front of her daughter's book and I was like, no, I refuse.
That
is a lot of pressure, yeah.
I was like, if I write in this book and you don't like how it looks...
That's going to be really awkward.
Also, she was in the States.
So to post the book to me and me to post the book back to her was going to cost a fortune.
I was like, look, I'll do a book plate.
I'll just do a little piece and you can stick it in the book if you like it.
And then, yeah, I got some moleskins and I started lettering on the front of moleskins and put them on Etsy and they sold.
That's where it was all kind of growing out of.
And so when was it then that you started to make the leather journals? So like the notebooks going in the journals? Yeah,
so
probably like six months in, I discovered
Traveller's Notebooks.
One of my friends showed me one and I was like, this is awesome.
I need this in my life.
I'm terrible for starting a notebook and then getting distracted and starting another notebook or having like four things on the go in different places because I don't want to have a different subject in the same notebook.
That would
