It's interesting that you mentioned that he, uh, in the beginning, in order to, um, uh, keep the marriage, he deci- she decided to trust the Lord-

So in another words, in your walk individually, I'm not talking about your wife, your willpower was not enough.

And answering to Him, and, uh, actually walking in God was asking you to do that transform every single hardship into a victory.

I know a lot of people, uh, that, uh, have gone through similar things, but there's, th- there's no doubt about it that I would not be standing where I am today, I could not be successful as a husband or a father, uh, or a, a witness, uh, for this, this country or, or His kingdom without God.

And trying to do any of this on my own would be, you know, the Bible talks about it.

And without God, we can pretend to be good, we can put on the, the facade of good, and we can be good sometimes, but we will all fail.

And without that back- backstop of, of not just having a relationship with God, but having an idea of why we were created and His purpose in our life, that gives us motivation to, to make the right choices and to rely on His Holy Spirit to follow His, His path in our life.

And this is one of the things I, uh, it breaks my heart for atheists out there that don't know the Lord or people that willingly turn their back on God.

It's not the best backdrop, but, uh, the, you know, the blessings that we have, it, it is, it's a miracle.

I mean, the fact that we have trees and air, and we live on this planet that's spinning around the sun, that we're flying through a solar system.

When you, when you think about the fact that we were born, the m- miracle and the blessing that every- everything, and the not just the good parts of life, but the hard parts of life, everything is a blessing.

And one of the things I've learned along this journey is, is, you know, I used to spend a lot of time complaining about the things I didn't have, or the people that had offended me, or the, uh, the, you know, the difficulties in my life and, and, uh, God really put it on my heart a couple years ago to spend not just the parts of the day, but all of my day waking up and being grateful for what I have, uh, bl- being thankful for the blessings in my life, focusing on the blessings of my life.

Even the not good, you know, the things that people would say are not so good, the difficulties in your life, focus on those as blessings because they teach you, they grow you, they, they transform you.
