How is it coming from the city and being now out in the countryside? Quiet, darkness, stars, chickens.

I mean, when you're in the city, it's you know, there's I love living in the city.

However, there's something to being out in a place like this where I can tune the world out.

It's very easy to let the pressures of the artistic discipline you're in and the commerce of it all and the elements that are about the money making and how to get your work out there.

It's easy to allow all of that to come in when you're in an environment where There's constantly sound and there's constantly people and there's constantly something to do.

There's constantly ways to get out of your own head and out into the world.

And I think a place like this helped me go more into my own head and tune out all of that noise.

I take a day usually when I go on any kind of retreat, whether I'm, you know, something like this where I'm chosen and paired and all of that.

Or if I'm like self-guided, like booked at an Airbnb, I usually try to take a day or at least half a day and just not expect anything of myself because I feel like I do need to come down off of the chaotic, you know, frenetic energy that you get when you live in a city.
Yeah, and I'm originally from Idaho, and my grandparents had a property with a nice pasture and a garden.
So having grown up in an area like that, it's been really lovely being in a space that feels similar.
