You describe the book, which is, uh, titled Poison in the Well, as your most important work to date.

So of all the things you've done, you say this is the most important one.

Yeah.

Um, preaching the gospel to Christians that aren't Christians.

Hmm.

You know? And, and I don't say that in some kind of preachy way.

I say it because I wish someone would've grabbed me 10 years ago and said, "What are you talking about you love the Lord? What are you talking about Jesus died on the cross? What does that mean? Your life doesn't look anything like this."

Hmm.

I could say that 'cause I would be talking to myself, so-

... you know, I could be harsh on myself.

Mm-hmm.

But no one, no one, um, no one recognizes that they're stuck in that place.

And the gospel, Paul says in, in Romans 1, is the power of God for salvation.

So it...

The gospel is, is what I needed to take root in my heart.

And so I believed in God.

Mm-hmm.

There's one thing to believe in God.

I think it's easy to believe in God, by the way.

Yeah.

It's hard to believe God.

Yeah.

That, that was, that's what was missing for me.

Mm-hmm.
