Trevin WaxGuestThomas WestGuestLastly, I'm going to add a brief word to folks who are listening who are single or who don't have kids.
One of the absolute most helpful things for my children is the relationships they have with other adults and especially with single adult friends of ours who can model to them different things than we can model, who have different past and life experiences than we have and who can point them to Jesus in ways that we can't.
And it's everything from, you know, I think of our friend Lou who's taking my son rock climbing on Friday afternoon sort of coming up.
He was a wonderful faithful example of what it looks like to follow Jesus as a single man in his 40s.
Or I think of young female friends we have who are modeling what does it look like to follow Jesus as a single 20-something in the particular kind of work environments that they're in.
Anyone who's listened to this podcast will know that I am an increasing and wild believer in the family of church and that actually the children of the church are not just the responsibility of their biological parents but actually of the whole church and that we all need to play our part.
So please, if you are not a biological parent or an adoptive parent, please don't think that you don't have a role to play in the lives of young people as they're formed because you absolutely do.
