Daniel Roher's terrific new film Tuner stars Leo Woodall as a young musical prodigy who works as a piano tuner... and whose hyper-hyper sensitive hearing may ebable him to crack safes...
But last week, I watched a new movie, which I think it... landed in a couple of theaters in 2025 but i know that it played a bunch of film festivals early in 2026 and the movie is called tuner an interesting name for a film and this is a movie where i saw the trailer quite some time ago and the trailer put forth a different it put different ideas into my head as to what the movie actually is so the preview trailer shows a very old Dustin Hoffman working with a young man who you assume in the trailer must be his grandkid, you know, based on how old the kid looks and how old Dustin looks.

It was like 2005 or maybe it was 2003.

But in the movie Runaway Jury, Dustin Hoffman plays an attorney named Wendell Rohr.
In this case, I think it was a coincidence, but I don't know that many people whose name is pronounced like a lion's roar.
Although in that movie, Dustin's character's last name is spelled R-O-H-R, and the writer and filmmaker is R-O-H-E-R. So...
