It's a young musician, an extremely talented piano player and aspiring composer named Ruthie, played in the movie by an actress I also was unfamiliar with named Havana Rose Liu.

and their early interactions we see just how good he is at picking up not only pitch but intonation and basically any key on the piano he can tell you what it is and what it does and if it is in tune or if it is even one tenth of one percent out of tune that's how that's how good this guy is that's how gifted he is so they kind of meet cute and it looks like maybe there'll be a little bit of a romance situation and Dustin Hoffman's character of Harry Horowitz.

It's not really that big of a role for Dustin, but you could see why he wanted to do it.

It's a pretty cool story and a cool concept, and he does have a sort of a showy part.
