Like, that's, uh, that's the summary of what you're going to read, and I just think that is mind-blowing, that Jesus is actually lonely for us.

"Continuing in my usual state, my beloved Jesus came, and since I had been all contracted for a few days to the point of feeling incapable of motion..." Also, she's stuck, and the priest hasn't released her.

"Uh, taking my hands in his, he told me, 'My daughter, let me loose you.'" That means the priest hasn't been doing it.

Uh, "And placing himself close to me, he put my arms on his shoulders, telling me, 'Now you are loosened.

Cling to me, for I have come to keep you company and to receive yours in exchange.'" That's Proverbs 8:31, "God delights to be with the children of men." "See, I am God, isolated by creatures." Do you remember, I think it's Genesis 4, I can't remember the verse, "Adam, where are you?" It was God looking for Adam, okay? "I live in their midst.

I am the life of each one of their acts, while they keep me as if I were not with them.

I have had the same lot as the sun, while it lives in the midst of all with its light and heat, and there's no fecundity, uh, which does not come from it.

And with its heat it purifies the earth of so many filthy things, and its goods are incalculable, which with magnanimity, uh, it makes descend upon all.

Yet it lives up high, always alone, while man, ungrateful, never sends a thank you to it or a sign of gratitude." In other words, we take everything for granted.

Alone, always alone." If you take the aloneness of Jesus in the tabernacle, you know, we actually know he's there, and we pay no attention whatever.

"I am the light of every thought, the sound of every word, the motion of every work, the step of every foot, and the beat of every heart." Because if the divine will doesn't concur with us, we can't do it.

Isn't that right? "Yet man, ungrateful, leaves me alone, never says a thank you to me, and never an I love you." See why he gets us to do the rounds, so that we make up for these voids for everybody.

Number two, "I'm isolated in his intelligence because he uses the light that I give him for himself, and perhaps even to offend me." Third one is, "I'm isolated in his words because many times the sound, uh, that they form serves to blaspheme against me." The next one, number four, "I remain isolated in his works, which he uses to kill me." Number five, "In his steps." Number six, "In his heart, which are intent only on disobeying me and not loving me, and intent on loving what does not belong to me.

But my love and my greatness," if I want a different word from magnanimity, "uh, is so great that more than the sun I continue my course, and in my course I keep investigating whether anyone wants to keep me company in so much loneliness.

And as I find this person, uh, I form my perennial company in him, and I lavish all my graces upon him.

This is why I've come to you." Now, it's, it's rare that he uses him for the soul.
