Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back.

Or should I say welcome to a new adventure is what we'd call it.

I'm coach.

As you guys know, those of you that don't know, I am a football podcaster, Arsenal fan, as you can tell by the attire.

And Arsenal are champions of England, if you guys didn't know that.

So this is the first of a new show, should we say.

And I don't want to put you guys' ears off too much because a lot of this stuff will go off on socials and other podcasts as well.

We just really want to get right into it.

I am humbled to welcome the original Arsenal podcaster.

Spoken to him before on the previous podcast, obviously, The Charles Spantane Show.

But welcome back to Andrew Mangan, aka

Arseblock.

Hey, thank you for having me.

Thank you for giving me the honor of being the first guy on the new show.

And, you know, before we get started, I wish

you all the very best with it.

Thank you so, so much.

I mean, I don't, I feel, I kind of feel like Luke and you're kind of like Obi-Wan in a sense that, you know, you, you've seen it all and done it all.

And I'm just kind of embarking on this new journey.

Hopefully I don't become old and bitter like him.

Yeah.

He also got killed by Darth Vader.

So that's not going to end well

for

me.

Yeah.

He lost a hand and all of that, you know, so yeah, I'm trying my best to keep my limbs.

Sure.

Um, so yeah, I think the best thing for me to do for people that don't know, I mean, this is going to sound really, really patronized, but I promise, promise not to.

It's not people that are not aware of what you do.

And you could give them a quick 30 second cliff notes of just who you are and what you do, because, you know, people still, for some reason might not know who you are.

Uh, I run a website called Arseplug, which started in 2002.

So yeah, we're into year 25 of the website and I started, uh, what I think was the very first club specific football podcast in 2006, which is the Arscast that's been going for, uh, coming up on 20 years now.

So basically I write and talk about Arsenal and I've been very lucky that that has become basically my, my main job.

Um, so I get to talk and write about the football club I've supported since I was a kid.

And, um, Yeah, I feel very, very honored and lucky to be able to do that because otherwise I'd have to go out to work and I wouldn't like, you

know.

Guys, he's been very, very humble.

Over the years, I've lost count how many times he's, you know, he's worked with or had some sort of a connection directly with the club over the years.

We've lost count how many times.

I mean, he's met Mikel Arteta.

How many podcasters can say they've actually met Mikel Arteta?

I don't know.

So, yeah.
