Clayton and Ethan kick off a brand-new series: “What Would You Do? — Duck Hunting Scenarios.” In this series, they throw real-world duck hunting situations at each other and break down exactly what…
Yeah, the yearly mega cold front is coming in next weekend.
You know, almost everything is going to be locked up.
Calling for ice and seven inches of snow and sub-zero wind chills.
So, now I got to answer what I'm doing?
First off, I know right where I'm going.
Elaborate as if I don't know where
I'm going? If we're trying to help the listeners figure out what we would do in this situation, what our thought process is to help our listeners.
All right.
Well, let me break it down.
I'll dummy it down.
First off, moving water takes longer to freeze up than calm water.
So obviously I'm not going to a pond, so I'm going to a big body of water, river, lake.
uh you know i'm gonna look at the weather i'm gonna see okay what exactly what's the span of this mega cold front is it a week is it two weeks let's just say it's for a week straight um like monday through sunday okay um obviously i'm gonna be hunting before Um, and I'll be on these bodies of potential areas that I feel like could be good because I'm going to hunt the front, you know, before the front comes, right.
See if they pinpoint any of these areas.
And then when that rolls around, I've kind of got an idea.
I'm thinking ahead.
These may or may not freeze up over a couple of days that we're going to be under 32 degrees because obviously it's not going to freeze up right away.
It's going to take a little while.
Let's say the front's coming.
I'm going to hunt those areas, see what's going on.
