Preseason Wrap, Starting Lineup, Rui, Wagler, Baba, Blake, GM Poll & more

Wanted to start with wrapping up some more of the fallout from the final preseason game.

Didn't have time to do a show yesterday.

122-110 was the final in preseason game number three.

Clippers over the Denver Nuggets.

Just three preseason games for the Clippers this year.

That was by design or at least they had some influence on how many games they could play.

I talked with Law Murray pregame.

We'll hear from Law coming up in a little bit here as well.

But you got to set your own schedule there.

Between three and six games is where everybody was at.

The Clippers only got three in.

I don't know if it was partially because everything else going on with the scandal and off the court and focus being there.

But they got three preseason games in.

And basically postgame Darius Garland was like, yeah, we're ready.

Check ball.

Let's go.

I don't think a lot of the vets wanted to play more.

But they got some good run in.

And I thought that last game there were some good, good things from this Clippers team that we can take away.

Including just having a turnaround of down 15 early in the first quarter and being able to come back.

And being able to show that resilient nature they're going to have to have this season, obviously.

Because they're going to be at a talent deficit.

I don't know about most nights.

Many nights, we'll say.

Maybe most nights, but many nights.
