It's an historical account from the Old Testament about a battle that was won where God literally fought on behalf of his people.

There was a man who stepped out in obedience and literally there was God fighting on his behalf, sending hailstorms, literally doing things that were out of the ordinary and doing things that weren't able to be done in the natural because there was a man who stepped out in obedience.

And I'm sure you all would have picked up on it as I read that story and I'm sure many of you have heard this story before, but I wanted to stir our faith today of what can happen when somebody prays.

I wanted to stir our faith today to understand that there is no limits to what God is able to do.

And what happened in this story is there was Joshua in the midst of a battle and he stops, he takes a moment and he begins to pray.

And his prayer wasn't just an ordinary prayer of God help us win this battle.

There's times that maybe you find yourself in a battle or maybe you're just going through the motions of life.

And we can find that we sometimes place restrictions even subconsciously around what we expect God to do at certain times or in certain seasons or in response to certain things.

And today I want us by the Spirit of God to just take those restrictions off what we believe God is able to do if it's in His Word, I want us to just remove all of those preconceived ideas of this is how much I'm able to believe God for and to allow that kind of faith that Joshua had in his spirit as he prayed that prayer to believe that actually maybe in response to my prayer today, God is able to make the sun stand still in the sky.

If at the prayer of one I wonder what kind of prayers we could begin to pray as we head into the rest of this year to begin to believe God for more than we could hope for or imagine, and what kind of prayers God might just be waiting to answer on your behalf as we head into the end of this year that could cause some situations that look dire to begin to change.

to begin to release the miraculous into areas you may not have even dreamed to believe God for.
