We had a couple of Halloween themed questions that came in and one that I'm thinking about because I live in a neighborhood that has a lot of Halloween decorations is how scary is too scary for Halloween decorations in public places on your city stoop on a street? is there any line that you should not cross with your halloween decoration because the public you know it might be unsettling the public and i'll just start out by saying i have uh or my my girlfriend has a dog and the dog There are certain forms of like, you know, Halloween decoration, the things that move or that.
I think the gorier or more sort of semi-real a decoration is, the more camp it has to be.
You can show blood, but I think it has to be ridiculous to the point that a parent can easily explain, look how...
But I think we live in an era in which people are like moving towards realism.
I love at the same time going to a neighborhood where everyone is elaborate.
People are kind of competing in their Christmas and Halloween decorations and get chili cookoffs in the summer.
Like, I love it, but I, I am for absurdism to the point that you abandon all like sense of like realism, like stop trying to make like the goriest, scariest, like, you know, when people pretend that they're mannequins and they jump out on a person like, nah, calm all that down, calm all of that down.
