But the first thing I learned was that there is something called the catch-30 crisis.

But human beings go through various stages, developmental stages, as they get older.

And what ends up happening is that when a person hits around 30 years old, they experience this catch-30 crisis.

And what happens is they reassess every decision, every major decision they made in their 20s.

I can tell you so many stories of people who were in their early 20s young men and women, who would give their left arm for Jesus Christ, who would go anywhere for Him, who would sacrifice anything for Him.

But when they hit 30, many of them, not all of them, but many of them, turn their backs on the Lord and they go back into the world.

Well, when it comes to where a person is going to be spiritually, where they're headed, you really don't know until they hit 30.

Okay? And I find this really interesting because in the New Testament and even in the Old Testament, you could not serve as a priest in the house of God until you were 30 years old.

And the point I want to bring home to you is, Young people need to be prepared for this.

And there are some things that we can do, I believe, to prepare them for that crisis.
