honestly i liked it but i was like wait why are we making this right now and then i was like oh this would be cool if like you were a little girl and you like looks like this actress and i was like oh okay i'm totally like halfway through i was like oh wait i know exactly why we're making this right now and it feels like the rock has a lot to do with it
i feel like he's the reason it's getting made and i was just like oh this is like cool that he's like because last year like two years ago he was like going for the oscar and then for this to be like in the works too
i'm like oh yeah like you're kind of just like a movie star and you're kind of just like trying to do like what's good for you and what's good for people and sure also trying to make money yeah
i agree i i really really like moana i sat on a plane for the first time going to japan and i cried so hard yeah um but like and yes like the first like hour i was like in my head kind of playing the cartoon and being like oh it's just better as a cartoon which again i think all these disney remake movies suffer from that because they are kind of like they exist better as animated metaphor than like literal sure but
that's true that is true no that's a very good point but to that point i still i really really liked it i thought everyone did a great job second year um opinion on kind of like visibility and like what people are after and i'm just like oh as like a story i'm like oh yeah one is just about like telling like this girl like you can believe in yourself and like you're capable and like don't let people tell you what to do do what you know was right and i'm like that's beautiful
it's beautiful it's also about like i think the i remember the first time i saw moana i was like oh but like he gets to be like the hero demigod yeah but what it really is is like oh no he like even though he is he is the hero demigod it's like oh he needs moana right and it's like oh it's okay and i was like oh that's a beautiful little like thing that we're teaching little kids where it's like okay you might be the man but it's like oh yeah like there's value and you might not find value in her at first and he didn't and then by the end he's like oh yeah like couldn't have done it without you and then i was like and that's like i love that little lesson
no for sure it also is remember that like it's like a youtube video that michael aren't like perfect ending things that like uses like star wars is like the perfect ending like it is uh it's like han seoul coming back and like all is lost you know all that stuff um but i liked it it's fun music is on is out of control the
the kid and the rock were fantastic truly deeply but the parents both of the parents i was like who are they they're giving
