And like you say that, you know, you kind of touched on that, that music scene for Manchester, you know, having in spiral carpets, you had Happy Mondays, the Stone Roses, each band genuinely are so unique to each other and art forms at what you all do.

But, you know, for being there, part of that insane whirlwind, does it feel more extraordinary now you've written that book, looking back perhaps to when you was actually in it?

You know, us and the Mondays in a different part of town and James in another part of town.

We came out of the Oldham scene and we were breaking out nationally and doing gigs up and down the UK.

We didn't feel connected with the rest of the bands once we started getting some success.

And that's when it suddenly became a scene that could be pigeonholed and sold and put on the front of the newspapers.

It was this all-encompassing party vibe with great bands and great records and great clothes.

Whoever came up with that name, Manchester, I think they did us all a favour of anything because everything just started to happen much quicker.
