Somehow, this wasn't on Spotify?? Anyway, this was the podcast where Phelan and I angrily stopped watching the Charmed Reboot.
... where they keep trying to tell us she's such a great character, and she did all of these nice things out of the bottom of...
And l- look, it- people are gonna come in here and be like, "Oh, but this episode's about how, like, she did do bad things, and she wants to do right." And it's like, okay, yeah, if you wanna make that her arc, whatever, but everyone's always bending over backwards to defend her over fucking bullshit, not punishing her for any of this fucking shit.
They even bring up all the witches she murdered, and I feel like the show likes to ignore how terrible that was just because we didn't really get to know any of them.
If this show had shown, like, one of these witches, and they could just ignore, like, the fact that their life was snuffed out because Abigail's terrible, like, it would feel way more reprehensible.
But they just, they want to be like, "Oh, well, you know, she did some bad things, but, you know, she's kinda good."
