So let's, speaking of daddies, let's talk about parenting and how it's changed throughout the years.
I guess from when we were parented to now being parents ourselves, what would you say has been the biggest shift in your mind?
I mean, I feel like, first of all, I think there's so much information now, right? Like when our parents were parenting or even prior to that, I feel like there wasn't so much available.
Whereas even when my kids were super young, like I think about how, you know, my sister just had a baby and, you know, she's got a question about breastfeeding.
She's got a question about anything.
That's right there to answer any question, any concern.
So I think the accessibility to information is a lot more now than it ever was.
And it kind of gives people this idea of like a variety of different techniques, really, that you can kind of pull from to parent your child.
So I think in the past, parents were kind of just winging it, trying to kind of just survive through those times, right? I think too, a lot of times, there were a lot more children in the family.
Like I know now, I think like the... you know, a typical family is like three to four people in the family.
Whereas, you know, maybe 30 years ago it was, you know, five to seven or even more.
Right.
So as far as children are concerned.
So I feel like kind of having that shift, you had to have children that needed to rely on other children to sort of parent each other in some ways.
And there was, again, just a lot less information
around
it.
What do
you think is like the biggest difference? So I do think the biggest difference is the structure around parenting nowadays versus when we were kids.
And, you know, I have to be honest with you.
I had my parents were great.
I had a great upbringing.
They were, I would say, probably stricter than other parents in that they weren't like Go have fun.
We'll see you when you get home.
