Canadian Football Week 2: How To Bet EVERY CFL Game This Week! | Best CFL Bets June 9, 2026

I mean, first and foremost, we saw some tight point spreads to start the season off.

And in years past, we had seen at least one, you know, touchdown favorite or around that ballpark.

So it was nice to see some short favorites.

I believe the biggest one ended up just being a couple points.

So that was good to see.

For me, it was a 2-0 week.

One, we'll take that and move forward at the overtime.

In the opening Hamilton-Montreal game, we did have a piece of the Edmonton Elks at plus three.

So going back to last year, 7-0 run, 10-2 run, but 2-0 this season.

We don't want to get too excited about just two picks.

We'll try and find some winners moving forward.

But you know what? We talked about that Ottawa team that's going to take some time.

New coaching staff, new quarterback, and then you mix in some bad weather and stuff.

Those Elks... how important that home opener win was to them.

And of course we talked about it, you know, Terry, you and I both liked you over that Hamilton game and you know, they're up 14 points, 14 points, and they don't find a way to win that game.

So it almost feels like if you ever like Hamilton, as I keep saying, you just like the over.

It's kind of how it works.

So with that, guys, we'll move our attention to week two.
