And I thought that because we just came out of doing a keynote presentation for a women's entrepreneurial group in Saskatchewan.

And one of the things that really stood out to me was this feeling that women had around the follow-up.

And we asked women, how many times are you actually following up with the prospect? And the numbers shocked me.

When in reality, that's actually a part of a successful sales journey is having someone being consistent in nurturing and building that relationship and in showing someone that, hey, I care and I'm doing my follow up.

If you have ever felt that you don't want to bother people with the follow up, this So I want to just start off with that belief that keeps us stuck.

Most people think that following up is chasing and that word right away doesn't feel good.

And we think that if they were interested, they would make a decision on their own.

When I ask people, why don't you follow up? They believe that it's the prospect's job to do all of that education, all of that clarifying, all of that support.

And it's actually on the prospect to come back and tell them, hey, I'm ready to make that decision.

Again, if you listened to part one of this episode, I really tried to nail home this idea that in this era of digital content, of AI content, Trust is a really hard thing to earn, and it's not happening in one trust point.

So if you're just following up once and hoping that does the trick, you're not really doing your job as a founder, as a salesperson, as someone who's there to close the deal.
